Vietnam is a Southeast Asian country known for its beaches, rivers, Buddhist pagodas and bustling cities. Hanoi, the capital, pays homage to the nation’s iconic Communist-era leader, Ho Chi Minh, via a huge marble mausoleum. Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) has French colonial landmarks, plus Vietnamese War history museums and the Củ Chi tunnels, used by Viet Cong soldiers.
Day 1: HANOI ARRIVAL – CITY TOUR
Morning Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, you will be warmly greeted by our guide and driver. Then transfer from the airport to the hotel for check in and rest to regain your energy.
14:30 Bring you back to the shape and get ready for a half day city tour in Hanoi to discover a charming city of Hanoi with a colorful history and rich culture that integrates the distinct architectural influence of China and France. We will visit the following places of interest:
- The Temple of Literature – the first university in Vietnam. Literature lake, Khue Van Pavilion, stele house… are valuable highlight objects that you cannot ignore. The tour guide will tell you about of 82 doctor stele stones with names of 1306 people standing until nowadays.
- Hoa Lo Prison: It is a former prison located in Hanoi Vietnam, also called Central House or ironically Hanoi Hilton. It was built when Indochina was an integral part of the French Empire. Partly destroyed in 1990, it is now a museum.
- Hoan Kiem lake (Sword lake) – center of Hanoi with Turtle tower, Ngoc Son Temple, furthermore, you could discover the Vietnamese traditional and French colonial architecture through buildings surrounding the lake.
18:30 End Hanoi half day city tour, return to hotel.
In the evening, you will be free on your own to walk around the city center to get acquainted with the liveliness of this city, visit Hoan Kiem walking street by night.
Note: Night market is available from Friday to Sunday.

Day 2: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B, L, D)
Below is the itinerary of Syrena Cruise
7:00: Breakfast at the hotel.
8:00: Driver of Syrena cruises will pick you up and move to Halong Bay, a tiny island where you can enjoy swimming, kayaking in the blue waters, and discover hidden caves. It takes 4 hours by private car to get to this beautiful island.
12:30: Receptionists welcome guests at the International Tuan Chau harbor.
12:45: Captain welcomes guests to Syrena cruises by tender. Check in cruise, whilst enjoying a welcome drink, safety briefing and check in cabin.
13:00: Leaving International Tuan Chau harbor, discover the Halong Bay – natural wonders of the world. Have lunch with special foods while cruising through famous sights Ba Hang fishing village, Đinh Huong island, Cho Da islet, Ga Choi islet…
14:30: Cruises stops at Bo Nau cave, the core area of the world natural heritage. Transfer by tender to Surprise cave – one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay.
15:45: Leaving Surprise cave, transfer by tender to Titop island was named by Uncle Ho, after Gherman Stepanovich Titop – the Soviet astronaut who visited in 1962 Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach or climb the steps of the Rock to the top of the island. On the top of the mountain, you can see a corner of magical Halong Bay …
16:45: Back to the cruise. Relax and enjoy the sunset on the sun deck. Go to the overnight place.
18:00 – 19:00: HAPPY HOUR – Buy 1 drink get 1 free (wine excluded).
18:30: Enjoy Vietnamese cooking demonstration.
19:00: Acquaint yourself with the set menu dinner.
20:30: Evening activities include: film entertainment (in the dining room); squid fishing; massage (contact with cruise manager for service price), etc.

Day 3: HALONG BAY – HANOI – SAIGON BY FLIGHT (B, BR)
06:00 Morning call (if you request).
06:30 Enjoy Tai Chi instructions on the sundeck in 30 minutes whilst cruising to Luon cave.
07:00 Enjoy light breakfast in the restaurant (coffee, tea, fresh milk, water, pastries, bread, egg, fresh fruit, cereals will be served in the dining room).
08:00 After breakfast, take a guided tour to visit Luon cave – one of the caves open to the beautiful vegetation of Halong Bay. Visit Luồn cave by a traditionally woven (bamboo) boat rowed by a local boatman.
08:30 Then come back to Syrena cruise, relax and check out of the cabin. Please put your luggage outside the door. Our porters will collect and get them ready on the Pier for you. Finally, the cruise disembarks in International Tuan Chau harbor.
09:15 Enjoy brunch buffet menu served in the dining room. Settle bills in the dining room after brunch (if you have).
10:45 Transfer by tender back to Tuan Chau harbor and disembarkation.
Then our car will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Danang
Upon arrival at Danang airport, you will be warmly greeted by our guide and driver. Transfer from the airport to hotel for check in
Overnight in Danang.
Day 4: SAIGON – CU CHI TUNNELS – CITY TOUR (B)
08:00 Breakfast at the hotel.
09:30 After breakfast, start our tour in the morning head to Cu Chi Tunnels, a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign tourists – the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. Before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed.
10:30 You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war). Then get back to our car to return to Saigon.
14:30 Begin your urban experience with a half day city tour in Saigon, the country commercial center and home to a growing number of upscale shops.
- Depart from your hotel to the Reunification Palace. This beautifully preserved palace was the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam.
- Enjoy a visiting the War Remnants Museum where you can see countless artifacts, photographs and pictures documenting the second Indochina war.
- Afterward, we visit The Notre Dame Cathedral, which is one of the best examples of classical French colonial architecture.
- Next is Jade Emperor Pagoda. This is an ancient temple, as the Chinese temple style with bright decorative motifs.
- Our last stop would be at Ben Thanh market where you can discover local life and culture.
18:00 End of the half day city tour, return to your hotel
Overnight in Saigon.
Day 5: SAIGON – MEKONG DELTA – SAIGON (B)
08:00 Breakfast at the hotel.
Depart at 09:00 am from from Saigon through rice paddies and small villages to My Tho which is referred locally as “the rice bowl of Vietnam”. (70km ~ 1.5 hours)
Upon arrival, cruising along small creek to Mekong River estuary, to Con Phung (Phoenix Island). The motorized boat cruise more along natural creeks and quiet village in Ben Tre Province.
In the afternoon, en-route visit a small factory producing handicrafts made of coconut. Visit orchards, bee – keeping farm, taste natural honey and honey wine, enjoy tropical fruit, traditional music, see round a distillery, explore the local coconut candy production process, taste candy & coconut pulp.
18:00 Drive back to your hotel in Saigon city
Overnight in Saigon.
Day 6: SAIGON DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
Then we will take you transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for the flight to your next destination.
It’s time to say thank you for coming here and hope to see you again!!
